Hello, I have one request and one clarifying question about how Partial Credit works. While I think what is described by Brad in this prior post about how partial credit is scored for Multiple Answer questions makes sense, this is definitely now how most folks assume the Partial Credit grading option works in Buzz. Can this be made more clear on an appropriate page like the How do I create questions for Assessment and Practice questions activities page?
Also, I assume this does not work the same way for Matching questions because you have to make pairs with those response options, so there is not the same issue where you need a negative penalty in order to avoid a student just selecting every option in the Multiple Answer question type and getting 100%. Or am I incorrect and this somehow does work the same way for Matching and a similar negative penalty is needed?
Thanks!

Hello Meri!
We will take your feedback into consideration.
With regard to Matching questions, if a student selects the wrong choice for the matching repones, it will deduct from the total points of the question. The example from the other Help Center comment applies to this example too with regard to deducting points. If you are concerned with students taking the exam multiple time until they pick the correct matching pair, then I would recommend limiting the number of attempts on the assessment and prevent students from viewing the correct answer via the activity settings > Assessment Review card options.
