Whenever I used to copy/paste a quick screenshot into the FB area, automatically a little box of "mark-up" options appeared, and I could point out errors there. Now it only appears infrequently, with no rhyme of reason I can figure. It also appears far from where I pasted the sample in the FB area. I rely on that quite a bit, and would like to know if you know where it might have gone to when I am using Buzz. The little "mark up" box would appear and when clicked upon, a larger box would open up to mark-up the screenshot. ...but now it is not consistently appearing.

Hi Russell! 

I was able to replicate the reported behavior of the image editor toolbar being positioned far away from the Messages window. I am continuing to investigate that behavior and will report back with my findings.

I wasn't able to replicate that it would sometimes not display. Perhaps if you are able to identify a consistent pattern or method of steps that would allow me to experience that behavior and share them here, I will be happy to investigate those steps.

Brian, it seems as though, maybe, when there is already feedback typed or given in the "Messages" area, and I then paste the screenshot in, the image editor toolbar does not appear.

 

When that "messages" box is empty, I do get the toolbar, on the other side of the monitor for some reason though.

PS: I use shift-windows-s keyboard shortcut to screenshot.

Now i see that the tool bar is appearing, but so far off the screen, I can't see the bottom portion of it.

I haven't been able to replicate the toolbar missing with text placed in the editor window. See attached screenshot below. I tested using the latest version of Chrome on Windows 11. Is the text supplied part of one of your templates or are you manually typing in text?

If the toolbar is not being placed far off to the side and is not visible anywhere within page, could you provide a screenshot of the Messages window so I can see how you have organized the format and text with the screenshot position?

Bottom left. and I can not access the rest of it.

Thank you I was able to replicate the image editor tool bar not displaying in my testing (seen in my screenshot below) and will continue to investigate. As for the image toolbar being seen on the far side of the page, I am happy to report that behavior will be fixed in tomorrow's (9/26) release of Buzz.

And I have additional good news! Both reported behaviors will be resolved in tomorrow's Buzz release. Thank you for reporting this!
