One of my teachers uses the Clipboard tool to track specific assignments she's given. In other words, if they are included in the list on the clipboard, they've already been assigned a particular lesson. How long do those names stay on the list? i.e. the little clipboard icon shows "7" for there are 7 students in the list. How long do those students stay in that count? What will remove them from that count?
The 7 students listed on the clipboard will remain until the teacher removes them. In other words, Students on the clipboard are not automatically removed, they must be manually removed by the teacher when it is desired using the "Remove selected" option in the clipboard.

Unfortunately, this is not what we are experiencing. Kids are disappearing from the clipboard tool without the teachers' manually removing them. Is there another reason they would disappear?
