Default Setting for Allow Late Submissions

In the previous editor, it seemed to default to "allow late submissions".  Quite by accident, I discovered that all the course assignments no longer checked that automatically.  Does this mean we will need to go in, assignment by assignment, to check this box?

To supplement:

 

If you have 70 or 80 assignments in a Master Course....you make your derivative, and drag and drop assignments onto the schedule/calendar.

 

At that point, you ahve to go BACK into all 80 assignments to click "Allow Late Submissions"?  Is there an easier way I have missed? :)

I have noticed this as well. On my wish list for Buzz features, I would really like to be able to be able to set default settings for assignments, so that my defaults could be different from another teacher in my domain.

In the meantime, I would be interested to hear if there is a way to "allow late assignments" as the default again.

I agree on all accounts!  

Personal default settings would be awesome.

Ability to Bulk change settings would be great.

Auto default to "Allow late submissions" would be wonderful.

I'd actually be curious as to why the decision was made to no longer default to that setting; luckily, we noticed it a day before students were due to start.  It was a long four hours of clicking to fix it ;)

Has this item been addressed, or is the default behaviour still leaving the box unchecked?

I am not aware of this behavior being different in the old Buzz UI. It currently works the same in both the new and old UI where the setting will need to be enabled and is unchecked. We have documented this request for our Product Team to take into consideration. If additional concerns remain, one may reach out to your authorized support point of contact and have them submit a ticket through the Help Center to Agilix Support.
