Any time a student earns a 0% for a missing assignment, the entire overall grade displays as 0%. We have checked course settings and gradebook settings. Not sure what we are missing. Any suggestions?

Cheree, it sounds like it may be an activity setting. If you open up the activity in the Curriculum Map, there is an option under "Gradebook Settings" labeled "Passing score required for course credit." If this enabled, then if a student does not pass this activity they will have an overall score of 0%.
