The Choice Assignment option sounded like it would be helpful, but it turns out to be worthless to me since the assignments do not show up in the gradebook as a normal assignment.

I am sorry that you have had a negative experience with this feature. Is this currently an issue with the new Buzz UI? If so, could you provide suggestions that would improve your user experience with it?
The grades do not appear in the teacher gradebook but they do apprer in the individual student grade book.
I have a teacher that has the same issue. It would be more helpful for them to see the choice assignments show up in the grade book along with the other assignments and not in the separate tab.
