Hello! We have a discussion rubric that is used throughout the LMS. I updated the rubric in our templates page and now I'm wondering if I have to go in and manually delete, then add the new rubric to ALL discussions in our system. Or there is a way for me to override the rubrics and attach the new rubric to all discussion pages? I'm wondering if there is a back-end way to make this happen.
Because activities created from a template are standalone copies, you will need to update the rubric for all the activities in the courses individually. Activities previously created from a template will not automatically be updated from updating the template used to create them.
An alternative method would be to use a linked activity through the Digital Library. Edits made to the source activity will inherit to the destination courses they are linked to. Here's a link to one of our guides on adding content from the Digital Library: How do I add content from the Digital Library? - Agilix Help Center. In the last step, you'd want to select "Link" rather than "Copy" for the added activities to receive future updates.
