BusyBees AI-powered Grading Assistant now supports Standards-Based Grading (SBG) courses in Buzz.

Teachers using Standards-Based Grading can now use BusyBee Grading Assistant to review and score student submissions directly within their SBG workflows, bringing the same time-saving predictive grading already available in traditional grading courses to standards-aligned classrooms.

With this update, BusyBee helps teachers:

• Reduce manual grading effort while preserving teacher oversight

In this release, we updated Buzz to allow .jpeg files in addition to .jpg files in several places. 

In this release, we also:

• Fixed an issue where teachers were unable to save or submit grades from the Needs grading screen. 
• Fixed an issue where LTI activity scores submitted before the release of External score available protections could incorrectly block new scores from being accepted from the LTI tool. Existing scores created before the feature release on 4/30/2026--whether entered by a teacher or submitted by an LTI tool--now continue to follow the previous score-sync behavior until a teacher manually updates the score. After a teacher makes a manual score change, Buzz begins protecting that score from automatic LTI updates.
