I am having the same problem.  It has been working sporadically and every time I log in more kids will show the zero.  Earlier in the year it was working great. Hoping Aglix will provide a response...

I just spot-checked that theory, and I have an assignment that was due at midnight last night and kids who logged on this morning but still have the assignment missing but no zero.
