I'll see what I can do. The problem is that I'll have to assign an assessment to a student that I don't really want them to take. Buzz won't let me assign it to myself (enrolled as a student).

You can only change activity settings for different groups. If you want to alter questions you need to copy the activity. Then assign the new modified activity to your student(s) with accommodations.

Agilix did add the ability to type an X in the gradebook quick-editor to excuse a grade in October 2020. The retry feature would be nice here too.
