Hey Michael, happy to hear from you! The query-string actually should be left blank to do a batch request. Just have to make sure other parameters are also correct (e.g., Content-Type).

Yes. If a user is enrolled into a course as a teacher and another as a student, they will have access to both the Teacher and Student apps/roles in Buzz.
