Hi,
We had a teacher accidently submit grades for all students and chose "Assign Minimum activity score to unscored activities'. Students are now seeing they are failing the course, as zeros were entered for assignments that are not yet due. I see the students are still active and are still able to complete assignments. Is there a way to reverse this, or to make the zeros not populate?

Good morning Krystal,
There is not a way in the Buzz UI to reverse the effects of that setting. However, since students are still able to submit their assignments, the scores can be updated to reflect their submissions as they complete the activities.
Please let me know if you have any additional questions!
Thank you for your quick response. To confirm, the zeros that were added will stay until the student submits an assignment? There is not a way to clear the zero?
That is correct. The zeros will remain until students submit the corresponding assignments, at which point the scores can be updated to reflect their submissions. There is not a way to clear the zeros through the Buzz UI.
Would it be acceptable to leave the zeros in place and allow the grades to update as students complete their assignments throughout the course?
We have students in a panic because they see a failing grade. I was hopeful there was a way to remove/delete the zeros.
I understand the concern, especially with students seeing a failing grade for assignments that are not yet due. Since students can still complete the assignments and their scores will update as they submit their work, would this be a workable solution if communicated to the students?
