Hello,
We have an API setup between our Agilix BUZZ account and our School Pathways SIS, we have having issues with new account creations not bringing across the students password that is set on their School Pathways account through the API connections.
Can you please check on your end to see if this information is being pulled across the conection?
I have already reached out to School Pathways to confirm that this information is available to be pulled across from their end.

Hi Sergio,
Thanks for reaching out. Would you be able to provide more information on what exactly is occurring when you try to set passwords? Information such as:
Also, it's worth mentioning that we have increased the password complexity requirements for admin accounts (see Password Protection Update for Administrators and Teachers in Buzz (2026-06-29)), so you may need to take a closer look at the Buzz SIS account to check if the password associated with it needs to be updated.
I hope this helps. If you can provide that additional information, it will help us determine the cause of this behavior.
Thanks!
Hello Andrew,
When students try logging into their BUZZ account they are getting an error that their username or password is incorrect, we have an API sync setup with our SIS (School Pathways) and Agilix to provision student accounts and part of the provisioning is to pull over the students password that is set on their School Pathways account.
I have been going into the student's BUZZ account and setting the password to match their School Pathways password that should be coming across in the API, once I do this the student is able to log into their BUZZ accont.
If you are able can you please confirm that student passwords are coming across on the API?
Thanks for providing those additional details Sergio.
Since the passwords are being set by School Pathways as part of their integration with Buzz, the next step would be to have School Pathways confirm exactly what password information they are sending to the Agilix Buzz API when the student accounts are set. In particular, they should confirm whether a password is being included when the student's Buzz account is created or updated, and whether they are receiving any errors from the Buzz API when attempting to set the password. If their logs confirm that the password is being sent correctly but Buzz is not accepting or applying it, School Pathways can open a ticket with Agilix Support so that we can investigate further.
Also note that if you do receive information about passwords from School Pathways, sensitive password values should be redacted in any response to this public forum.
I hope this helps clarify the next steps. Thanks!
