I am realizing a potential reason to keep the Final Grade view on the SBG gradebook. I do not think there is another way for teachers to see the final Letter Grade or Overall % anywhere else in the gradebook. Perhaps that is a reason Buzz designers decided to keep it there? In the traditional gradebooks (or MOS), the overall letter grade and % are still visible with Final Grades toggled off.
Ideally, we could just use the SBG and not look back... However, we are required to report letter grades at the end of the semester for credit-bearing courses... so having that view remain would be helpful. Or changing it to a view-only feature as opposed to a way to "Submit Final Grades"
As I mentioned above, after submitting about the final grade submission still being available in SBG courses, we realized there would be no way to view the overall % average in these gradebooks once "Submit Final Grades" was disabled.
As much as we love the SBG concept, we unfortunately still need our teachers to submit a letter grade at the end of the semester. Our SIS pulls the % score via DLAP API, but it would be helpful if teachers could see the overall % score in the buzz gradebook. Could "Overall % score" be added to the Gradebook "Display Options", "Visible Columns" pod perhaps?
Currently, in order to see the data supplied in the final grades page, you will need to enable final grades in the domain Features page. That is an umbrella setting for other settings in the course to honor. What you were encountering prior to yesterday's release was not intended behavior.
We will take into consideration adding those fields to the Display options.

We have made a change that will resolve this reported behavior. It is included in our release that tentatively will occur tomorrow.

Is there anything else I can do for you?
Nothing else at the moment- Thank you!
