Is there a quicker way to Override a Complete and then an Uncomplete, rather than accessing each individuals gradebook one at a time? So when you see the black paper icon in the gradebook, you need to click on it twice to first Override a Complete and then a second time to Uncomplete. I tried click on the assignment and going into the Activity Grader where you have the option to "Batch Update Scores" however I don't think any of these options to - auto fill scores, excuse are allow retry will clear the completed entry.
At this time, you will have to do it one at a time in the grade editor. Can I ask why you are needing to override complete? This may help me better understand the need for a batch process and I may be able to give another solution or workaround.
The issue arises when a teacher goes to finalize a student grade. They are marking the un-completed items as complete with a zero. So if an extension request is then requested, we have to go back into the gradebook and remove the complete, remove the zero, and then submit to allow the student to have a clean gradebook.
Thanks for clarifying. At this time, we do not have a way to accomplish that. One workaround that is not ideal is to batch grant a retry for the impacted students through the activity grader. See this article to bulk update multiple students per activity to grant a retry.
