We have started using marking periods this school year. How do we finalize marking period grades so students cannot go back in and do work that would chnage thier first marking period grades? We would like the ability to have some students go in and continue working(they may have been out do to illness and are behind) but we would like to not allow students to redo any of the work. Any help/feedback would be greatly appreciated.
To submit final grades, I would recommend checking out How do I manage and submit final grades? from the Agilix Help Center. The article goes through in detail how you can submit final grades for each grading period and how you can automatically zero or excuse all unscored activities.
As for allowing certain students to work on their unscored assignments even after receiving a final grade for that grading period, we have a video tutorial, Buzz in Practice: Extending Enrollments from the Buzz YouTube channel. In the video tutorial example there were no grading periods but following the steps in the video will have the same effect even with grading periods.
