Unit Folders not copying contents to My Library

This is an ongoing issue. A member of one of our schools' administration staff brought to our attention that they have been unable to copy a folder's entire contents to their personal "My Library" page. For example, when a Unit folder is selected and the "Copy to My Library" option is used, the folder with that unit name is created in the My Library app, but none of the subfolders, resources, or assignments are present. At this point, we aren't sure if this is intended functionality, a bug that only occurs with certain courses, or whatever else. The user has reported that they used to be able to copy any resource or folder and it would copy the entire contents as expected. In the meantime, they must go in and copy each item in problematic folders and re-organize them in order to have them correctly saved to My Library. Is there a way we can check to see if the copy process is completing successfully on the back end? Exact examples of this phenomenon can be provided upon request.

Hello Joshua!

I attempted to replicate this behavior in my own test course and was unable to do so. If you can provide specific examples and reproduction steps, that would be helpful for my investigation. This is a public forum, so if you do not feel comfortable sharing that information here, I would recommend that you submit a ticket to Agilix Support with that pertinent information and reproduction steps so that we might be able to replicate and attempt to resolve the issue.

Hi Allison,

Due to confidential information at play, I would prefer to keep the specific details of this issue private.  It seems our organization does not have information about submitting tickets directly to Agilix Support.  Could you direct me to the proper location where I should be submitting that kind of request?  I don't see an option for that on the Help Center.

Only authorized contacts within a customer organization may submit tickets to Agilix Support. Currently, your account is not an authorized account to do so. I have reached out to one of your organization's authorized contacts alerting them of this post and situation. I would recommend that you also reach out to your authorized contacts within the organization to work with them on submitting a ticket to Agilix Support.

We received a ticket from your organization. The reported behavior is caused because there are more than 5,000 items within the 'My Library'. You will need to delete some of the items or create another user account to add items within their library.

Is there a way to monitor this capacity limit so that school admins and teachers are aware of and can plan for their own resource needs and limitations?  Without knowing that there is a limit and the copy operation not working being the only indicator that the limit has been reached, this is a difficult issue to support, predict, and provide guidance on.  A bit more transparency would allow our teachers and admins that heavily rely on the My Library feature to be more informed and able to proactively plan out their usage.

I will send word of the issue to the admin in question so they can prune any unnecessary items from their library and hopefully get it back up and working again.
