Question Type Advanced Options Not Working

We’ve noticed inconsistent behavior with assessment pooling when using the “Pool by question type” option. - Assessment is made up of multiple types of question types. - Assessment is set to pull 20 total questions. - Pooling is enabled by question type, with the requirement set to 1 essay question Prior to this week, each student should receive a random assortment of questions including exactly 1 essay question. Actual behavior (as of this week): - Some students are not receiving any essay question at all (and nothing shows in the teacher’s gradebook). - One student reported receiving 6 essay questions in a single attempt. Pools sometimes contain 200+ questions, so knowing exactly how many of each type are available isn’t always easy to track. Because of that, setting a minimum number of question types (e.g., 1 essay) has been a great workaround to make sure students always get a balanced set.

Hi Erica,

Thank you for reaching out and providing that information. I understand that it's important to ensure students receive a balanced set of questions. To best address this, we kindly as that you report this behavior to your organization's support representatives as they are best equipped to investigate further and escalate a ticket with Agilix Support if needed.

I hope this helps. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention, and please don't hesitate to reach out with any other questions. Thanks!
