We have our courses ending on 7/1/2025, and they show as inactive. However, the students still have access to the materials. How can I remove access or better yet, archive these courses?
Thanks for you message! In Buzz, students will continue to have read-only access to past courses after their enrollments expire. This behavior is controlled by a domain-level setting. Admins can fully remove student access to expired courses by navigating to the Domain > Features page and disabling the "Enable student access to past courses" setting. Keep in mind that this setting applies domain-wide.
Another option is to password-protect the course material and then change the password once the course ends. This can serve as a manual way to restrict access to specific course materials.
Lastly, Buzz doesn't have an official "archive" feature. Once a course is inactive, it can remain in that state for recordkeeping.
Let me know if this helps, or if you have any more questions. Thanks!
