This is for the farily new feature on automatically allow retries on below passing activities under USERS , Under ACOOMODATIONS that is per student Retry Limits: Can we have the ability to control the number of retries a student is allowed when an assignment is assigned on the USER PAGE (e.g., 1 retry, 2 retries, unlimited)? This feature would be especially helpful, as some IEPs explicitly state the number of retries a student is permitted. Score-Based Retry Triggers: Can we set a threshold score per student on the USER PAGE that determines whether a retry is allowed? For instance, some IEPs state that a student may retake an assignment if the score is below a certain percentage, such as below 70%, even if the passing score is 60%. Reset by Category: Can we control which categories (e.g., quizzes, tests, assignments) get reset on the USER page? For example, it would be helpful to allow automatic resets for quizzes and tests, but leave assignments under manual control since they are hand-graded and often include issues such as blanks or plagiarism ."Override Retries" Option:on each assignment in the grading column. Can there be an “Override Retries” button on the grading screen? This would be useful in cases where multiple retries have been used, and we encounter blanks or plagiarized work. Sometimes we have rules on this that can't be automatically reset. A studewnt may have only 'x' amount of times they can sumbit copy and pasted wor, plagiarized work, or work that in t their own. This would allow us to close access temporarily, with the option to reopen later if needed. Additionally, students keep submitting the same assignment, over and over again with no changes Also, in some IEP there are clauses to time, such as they have 1 week after to retry.

I agree with Barbara's ask. This too would be beneifical for our learners with Special Education plans and Multilingual learners. As Barbara described often this is specified in their IEP and would allow us to follow what is written for each individual learner.
