I would like to set up matching questions that would have either the "yes or no" choice or some other 2-3 choices. How do I match them to a group of questions?
You set it up like you would any matching. Words that are used multiple times only appear in the matching list once. In the example below I used red and green multiple times. The students would only see two words in their matching list. They can use each word as often as they like.
Type: MT Options: Inline Score: 5, Partial 1) Match each definition to the term that it best defines. a. Lettuce is = green b. Cherries are = red c. Strawberries are = red d. Zucchini are = green e. Granny Smith apples are = green
In case you don't know, you can also add distractors (answers that are never used). You just leave the question part blank. In the example below, the students would have three answer choices: red, green, yellow. Yellow is not a correct answer though.

Thanks for the answer - but something is missing somewhere. I set up the question as you described, and when I access the quiz, the question comes up empty - totally blank.
That is odd. I noticed 2 things that looked unusual. First after the words "match the correct choice" there was a drop-down menu. I'm not sure where that came from. Also after the first part of your questions there were scroll bars.
I copied the code from my example above, then pasted it into a new assignment. It worked as intended.
When you are in the question editor can to switch to the text editor and post a screenshot or copy the code and paste it here? It is easier for me to see everything in that view.
