Hi! The textbook publishers for multiple subjects and courses at our school use TestGen test banks. We contacted the publisher to ask if there was a QTI Common Cartridge package available for each text (as advised by Agilix tech support team) and were told by the publishers that that option was not currently available for the textbooks. So my question is this: Has anyone figured out a work around? After a lot of work and testing, I was able to figure out a work around for the Cengage Cognero test banks and am happy to share with anyone who needs this information. But I am not having the same kind of luck with TestGen. What is really, really frustrating, is that both TestGen and ExamView used to work in the first instances of Buzz. With TestGen I did have to upload the images separately and tweak the HTMl code, but I could get it to work. However, but with the latest updates I can not longer get them to work using the WebCT (QTI) export that the tech support team advised to us way back in BrainHoney days. So does ANYONE have advice they can offer?
Here are the export options available in TestGen:
Plain Text File
Formatted Text File (RTF)
Easy Edit Text File (RTF)
HTML Formatted File
PDF
HTML Practice File
Blackboard 6.x-9.x
QTI (WebCT CE 6, WebCT VISTA)
Moodle 1.9 - 2.x
Sakai
Desire2Learn
I have created sample export files for each of these and they are available at:
