To-do list

Good afternoon. I have been noticing that when students complete assignments that it is not being displayed in the "to do" list on my teacher site to be graded. I have to go under people to find the student and check his/her work from there. Is there a reason for this? It is so much easier when assignments to be graded show under the "to do". Please let me know if there is anything I can do to adjust this.

Hello Amber,

Please verify from your teacher home page under the menu option "Manage Courses" (near the top left) in the "View" option that you do not have any of the to-do list or courses hidden from your home page. If a course is hidden or it's to-do list is hidden then the items from that course will not display in the needs grading list.

We have a teacher with inconsistent TDL behavior for activities that have been graded with a score of 0.  Sometimes the activity is removed from the TDL, but other examples (different student enrolled in the same course) where the teacher submits a zero score in the same fashion causes the "needs grading" activity to stay on the TDL.  Can you help provide clarity on the impact of entering a grade of zero for an activity for the activity's presence on the TDL?

Hello Jeff,

Your question will require a bit more investigation, could you please pass this through the support channels so more information can be gathered?

Without looking at the specific instances, saving a score as a draft will cause the activity to remain in the needs grading list as it hasn't been returned to the student yet.
