Hello,
I want my students to receive an email notification when I submit a grade, leave feedback, or a due date is coming up. Is this possible? How do I enable this FOR all my students.
I do not want to leave it up to them to enable their own notifications because I know many of them wont do it because they don't want to be responsible for it.
Thanks

Hello Kelly,
Notification settings are on a per user basis, so the notifications would have to be configured in each user's settings. This can be done by the student or by proxying as the student and accessing their settings to enable notifications. There is not an option to force notifications to all students in a domain.
Is it possible for Admin to set student account defaults so notifications are on/off when the student account is created?
Hello Bruce,
It is not possible to turn on notifications by default, it is required to have them enabled so that there is consent to receive the notices.
Thanks Scott I was confused because I missed the word "email" in the original post. I knew my students received notifications as a stream on their Buzz homepage. I mistakenly thought Kelly's students did not.
