I have an assessment (ID ca44462c8c9d4bdc831c5881a9771465 in course ID 133284514) where I'm using ^[a-zA-Z]{1,}$ for any answer correct in a few fill-in-the-blank questions and it doesn't appear to be working. The ones with ^[a-zA-Z]{1,}$ are being marked as wrong when there is something submitted for an answer in that blank. Is there a bug or is there something I'm not doing right?
Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. I've investigated the assessment by reviewing the activity settings and enrolling myself as a student. I attempted multiple submissions, including entering "^[a-zA-Z]{1,}$" into the third fill-in-the-blank field (I could not enter it into the first two because they are set with the 'Number' answer type), and I was unable to replicate the issue you described. The answers were not marked incorrectly on my end.
