Reading through the discussions, there have been many teachers asking Buzz to add a "retry" hotkey to the quick edit grading feature.
It is so cool that the Buzz team listened to feedback (back in 2016) to add an excuse hotkey. With this feature, you can type an "x" in the quick edit to excuse an assignment. There should be a similar feature for retry. Or maybe a score plus retry.
The situation I am using this for is when students do not turn in assignments on time. I want to mark them 0 because then it lowers their grade and scares them into doing the assignment. However, I also want to allow them to complete it. When there are 20+ assignments that have not been turned in for the grading period, it would save a lot of time to be able to do it with quick edit.

However, would the Activity Grader bulk retry feature (as seen below) help accomplish being able to update multiple students as you indicated you are attempting to do?
