Hi, I'm not sure what I did but my students score is stuck at 0% and I can't figure out how to undo it. He has done multiples tests but the score hasn't changed on my dashboard or his. I can see his individual score but not his overall score.
If the course score remains at 0%, one possible cause could be one or more activities may require a passing score for the student to receive course credit. This means that if a student doesn't achieve a passing grade, their course score would be 0%. If this were the case, you would see red thumbs-down icons next to activities in the student's gradebook that require a passing grade.
However, it's difficult to say for sure what could be causing your student's grade to remain at 0% without looking into the settings of the course and its activities. Could you provide me with the enrollment ID of your student?
That ID will help me investigate what could be causing your reported behavior.
Thank you for sharing the enrollment ID with me. After reviewing the student's progress, I confirmed why their course score is 0%. This is because they did not achieve a passing score on the "LIRH: W01D01 Assessments" activity, which currently requires a passing score for course credit.
For the student to receive course credit and have their score accurately reflect their overall performance, there are two options. Firstly, the student can retake the activity and aim for a passing score (currently set at a minimum of 75%). By doing so, their course score will incorporate the results of all other activities. Alternatively, the teacher can modify the activity by unchecking the "Require a passing score for course credit" checkbox or lowering the required passing score.
Please feel free to let me know if you have any questions. I'd be happy to help answer them.
