Chunking Lessons

I'd like to see a feature allowing lessons to be paused at certain points to have students answer comprehension questions similar to EdPuzzle. Chunking content is a great strategy to make the learning "sticky" and will have the students reflecting and answering directly after rather than waiting until the end of a lesson.

Hello Tyler,

There are currently options available for content providers to be able to create lessons like this, it is up to the content creators on how they generate their content however.

Could you define content providers for me? Can I as a course owner do this when creating activities?

Hey Tyler!

Absolutely, there are a few options; one being in the system and another using a third-party content creation tool. The suggestion in the system would be to break the content into a few activities with quizzes interspersed and requiring the completion of the previous activity before the quiz or next part of the lesson can be attempted.

The other option would be to use a third-party SCORM creation tool to create a SCO activity which allows for the creation of a single activity which could have the lesson paused at certain parts to assess the student.
