Can you pre-populate a discussion board?

I have to create several copies of a course. I want to prepopulate a discussion board inside the course with threads each time I copy the course. Is there a way to do this? Copying and pasting and making new posts for each copy is really time-intensive.

Josh,

There is not currently a way to pre-populate threads inside a discussion board when creating or copying a course.
