It would be really nice to be able to send out a mass email, and be able to personalize it with the student's name. (see below) Hi [Name], I would love to see this feature become available.

In the meantime, using replacement variables looks like the closest substitute.

Not as far as I can tell. It looks like they only work in folder landing pages and activities in Buzz. 🙁

Hello everyone! 

These are the only places where replacement variables may be seen:

  • Folder landing pages
  • Activity content
  • Questions in assessment and practice questions activities
  • Activities that are website links; you can use variables in the website URL or in POST parameters to the website.
  • You can use a limited set of variables for giving student feedback.

We will take your feedback into consideration!
