I have recently incorporated badges into a new course and was checking to see if they were being awarded to students. When I reviewed a particular student, it showed that she had at least 2 of the same badges, and in one case 3, badges for every badge that she had earned. There is also a badge listed in her account that had been deleted before the course was released for students. I cannot find any settings that would be causing this. Any input or help would be appreciated. I will include screenshots to clarify.

I ended up being able to remove the extra badges using the API because I'm a Buzz Admin at my institution.
I am sorry to hear this. I recommend reaching out to your authorized contact within your education organization and if needed they may submit a ticket to Agilix Support regarding the behavior of it duplicating badges.
The API may be used to remove duplicate awarded badges. If needed, we may assist with that.
This can be accessed through the student gradebook, select "Badges" from the toolbar.
As for why they were awarded, I am not sure and would need explore it more deeply. It looks like your request was sent in to Agilix Support so we will be working to address that part of it.

One addition I need to make on removing awarded badges. You may do this now (removing awarded badges) through the UI instead of just the API. See our release notes for more information: Buzz Release Notes (2020-10-22; v3.0.200) - Domain setting for Affirmation messages.
