Is there a way for admins to set the gradebooks to calculate a zero into a student grade for overdue assignments until they are complete? We pull grades into another system and want the grade to reflect that students are behind by giving them zeros until they finish the assignments.
This will automatically put in a zero for the score. As long as the activity is set for students to be able to turn in late work, the student should still be able to go back and do the assignment. If it is an assessment, it may need to be set for multiple attempts. You could also go into every zero score and allow a retry.
I was able to change the settings, but it's not putting zeros in for past due assignments. I saved the settings as well. Is there something else I need to do?
I'm not sure why it didn't assign zeros. Looking at this post from last spring that should do it. Hopefully, someone from Agilix will post with a solution. Maybe you should submit a tech ticket through your account rep.
When the setting is enabled, issuing zero scores is based on a nightly system task. In other words, there is the potential it won't immediately issue flunked scores.

This option is under the course settings.

Hello Kimberly!

Thank you! I also was able to figure out that the course must be set to "range" rather than continuous for the zeros to factor in.
