Our district has just started using Buzz this year. In the Language Arts courses, the text that students are expected to read is 2 grade levels above their grade level. So, my third graders are greatly struggling understanding the reading because it is at a 5th grade readability level. (I did take the text and copied it into a readability checker). Even when it is read to them, the vocabulary is above their understanding.
My students are frustrated and needing much support in LA. I feel that it's a huge problem with the program that needs to be changed.

Hi Carolyn!

I'm not sure of who the "online education environment" would be. Buzz doesn't put the text into the program? Thanks for your quick response!
