I submitted my assignment by selecting a file on Google Drive. I followed the instruction and granted Buzz access to my Google Drive. But I got informed by the teacher that she does not have access to the files. I assume Buzz should handle the permission issue automatically since I granted Google Drive access to it. If I need to set Google Drive permissions for each assignment for every teacher, it will be very tedious. Then the benefit of using Google Drive is totally lost. Please take a look at the issue and get it fixed.
As a teacher I would love this feature added as well. It can be extremely frustrating when trying to grade student work when I can't see their google docs.
I am another teacher who has been dealing with the need for multiple access requests and emails to get google documents shared. If there was a way to easily let students manage the google share settings when uploading to Buzz, that would be fantastic. Similar to when I send an email via gmail with a linked doc, students seeing a "someone needs access" message if they forgot to share would be very helpful!
