I used to be able to search for a user without reference to the domain they were in. There was a checkbox next to the search window that came up that said "search all domains". I use this regularly. Where can I find that in the new UI (.next.agilixbuzz.com)?

Hey Miki, there's a shortcut to search all domains when using the new "Find" feature. If you wanted to search for a user name "Daniel" across all domains, you can use "@!Daniel". The "@" indicates you are searching for a user and the "!" indicates all domains. As of now, there isn't a checkbox to select to search all domains.
This is exactly what I was looking for. One other question... I see how a teacher can search first by course, then by user; but, is there a way to do it the other way around. What if the teacher knows the student's name, but not what section they are in. Our teachers sometimes have 150 sections on their dashboard.
Thanks!
Miki
For a teacher, there is not a way to perform a quick search for any user. However, you can navigate to the People tool and then use the onscreen filter (or browse) to find the person. The People tool can display all students regardless of the course.
