Is there a way to deny teachers the ability to change the Title or SIS information of a Master course?
In Buzz, their currently is no way to not allow a course author/editor to edit the course title. Only admins can edit the External ID, which is reserved for SIS identifiers. Was there another "SIS information" that you are referencing?
Hi Brad,Thank you for the response. Our district domain has several "subdomains" and we use Aeries as our SIS. We are trying to automate the process of course creation and keep the SIS information the same. By your response, only the External ID cannot be changed, but the title can. Correct? Is there any way to override this?
Anything/everything can be changed, but the UI limits what can be changed by role. In our current implementation, the only way to prohibit a teacher from changing the course title would be by using CSS to hide the "Edit" title option in the Curriculum Map.
I believe this may do the trick!Thank you.
Hi Brad,I can find where to customize CSS for my styles and themes but not he Curriculum Map. Where do I find this?
To alter any CSS, Curriculum Map or not, you would want to upload the CSS file to the Styles & Themes tab. See "How do I customize the CSS?"
