Enter Registration Code

Is it possible to disable student access to the "Enter Registration Code" feature? All our courses are created automatically with an integration process and this causes some confusion.

Thanks!

We recently added a feature where, at the domain level, the "Send Mail" link can be disabled in the Student App.

We have captured the original request for consideration. Thanks for the thoughtful feedback.

+1 I'd like to be able to disable it for all users. Also, the Redeem Command Token button. I have a few customers that will never use it.

As a workaround, I set them to a space in the <string-list> which the UI doesn't allow but if you go into the XML Editor you can force it. It now shows up as an empty space in the menu.

Hey Darren,

Where would I find the XML Editor to do this? Is this done in the XML editor at the domain settings level?  Thanks,

Doug

Yes, under Buzz settings.

<settings>
<string-list>
<string id="Redeem Command Token" value=" " />
<string id="Enter Registration Code" value=" " />
</string-list>
</settings>

Thanks, that worked perfectly!

Dennis was also asking if there was a way to hide the "Send Mail" link shown in a course.  Are you aware of any ways to do this?

I don't think so. You might want to post that as a new topic so someone at Agilix sees it.
