Assessment issue with multiple answer questions

Follow

When teachers are using the multiple answer questions the points earned don't match the points given.  In the below example, there are 3 correct answers.  The student selected 2 of the correct answers but only earned 3 out of 9.  How do we do this so that the student earns 6 out of 9 if they get 2 out of the 3 correct?

That's correct Susan.  In order to prevent the students from selecting every answer and getting the question right, Buzz will deduct a point for each incorrect answer down to zero.

So in your above example, the student had 2 correct and 1 incorrect for a total of 1 correct... which is the 3 out of 9.

Thanks so much!  I will share this with teachers. I think it would benefit students and teachers if they could only select 3 choices (in this situation) if there were only 3 correct answers.  I'm not sure if that would be something Buzz would be able to do.

No, Susan, there is not any way to limit the amount of choices the user can select. For multiple answer questions, it is limited by how many options are listed.
