Student Progress for Admin User?

As a teacher, I can click on my PEOPLE tool and view all current grades and the number of late assignments for all of my students enrolled in all of my classes.  It would be nice to be able to get this information for a student in all of the classes they are enrolled in regardless of who the teacher is for the class.  Our program contracts with the school districts, so we are getting requests for student progress all of the time.  As of now, each teacher has to send this info separately.  Would it be possible to give this ability to pull progress info for all classes that a student is enrolled in to an administrative user?

Hey Amanda, you can currently do this. If you navigate to the user in the Admin tool, there is a Performance tab that list all of the user's grades (and other information) across all courses. See How do I use the Users tool?

I hope this helps!

Thanks so much, Brad!  I shared your directions with our Admin and she is now able to view the info.  That helps us a lot!

How do you view the number of late assignments from the People View? I would be interested in this.

Hi Kevin.  From your PEOPLE view, you can click on "Options" at the top.  Select "Edit Visible Columns".  At the bottom, there is a box next to Late.  Check that box, and now your PEOPLE view will show the number of late assignments at the far right.  I haven't gotten a clear answer yet as to what is counted as "Late".  Some of my classes seem to include only a count of graded assignments, while others seem to count more.

Thanks! I don't know how I managed to miss this before.
