A round-up of all improvements and changes to the Buzz platform in version v3.0.135 available on September 5, 2019.

Coming next week: New Grade Editor

Next week (9/12), we are releasing an updated Grade Editor in Buzz!

You will lose none of the existing functionality, but you will gain an improved experience, including:

  • A cleaner UI.
  • The ability to categorize your Feedback Templates using groups.
  • Returning attachments to students with assessments.
  • New collapsible minimal mode that allows for more content screen space.

Updates

In this release, we:

  • Updated Add Activity screens to match the new Buzz material design UI.
  • Updated the observer Activity Stream to allow users observing multiple enrollments to toggle between enrollments.

Fixes

In this release, we:

  • Updated activity course links with “Open in new window” checked to open in a dialog over the top of the activity to better maintain continuity for the learner. 
  • [New Activity Player] Fixed an issue that caused some equations to display incorrectly. 
  • Fixed an issue where gray dots (indicators showing that a grade is not available) were not appearing in the Gradebook where they should have. 
  • Fixed an issue where clicking on the Submission History link would redirect to the Domain Details page.

Updates in version 2019.09.04.4021.

  • General system improvements.

How will the minimal mode work with the MOS? Will each assessed outcome be available?

Yes, it will work with MOS.

When in the Algebra class and using an iPad, students click on "try it now" and it goes back to the top of the page. This is a new glitch as of a month ago.
