Updates

In this release, we:

  • Updated the wiki player and activity editor screens to match the new Buzz material design UI.
  • Updated the Grading Scheme Editor to match the new Buzz material design UI.
  • Updated the Gradebook screen to retain scroll position when teachers open the Activity Grader and then close it. 
  • Added a pin icon to Gradebook columns that can be dragged.
  • [New Activity Player] Added a Retry icon that appears on the Activities tool next to activities with retry options. 
  • Added the ability to customize (1) toolbar and (2) applications tab colors in Domain Settings > Themes

Fixes

In this release, we:

  • [New Activity Player]  Resolved an issue with navigating through questions in adaptive assessments. 
  • Fixed an issue where equations inserted using MAthML would appear as HTML when rendered.
  • Fixed an issue with the way student activity time was tracked when closing assessments.
  • [New Activity Player] Updated the Agenda calendar to highlight dates with agendas. 
  • Fixed an issue where special characters were not accepted in email addresses when editing user information.
  • [New Activity Player] Fixed an issue where observers were sometimes unable to view an LTI activity for their observed user.
  • Fixed a scrolling issue in the Gradebook screen. 
  • Updated the Gradebook to close Quick Edit when the user scrolls.

APIs

Updates in version 2019.08.07.3960.

  • SubmitAttemptAnswers: Added a new option to include file attachments.

We do all understand that the push pin icons are not working, correct? Teachers are no longer able to lock the score in place while scrolling to the right. This is causing some problems for them when grading because they are forced to scroll back and forth. FYI... the name pushpin cannot be turned off; the others cannot be turned on.

Ok, figured it out. You have to actually drag the column to the left of the very, slightly darker line.
