A round-up of all improvements and changes to the Buzz platform in version v3.0.114 available on May 23, 2019.

Updates

In this release, we:

  • Updated course, student, and objective proficiency components on analytics screens to match the new Buzz material design UI.
  • Changed the text of a button from "See all notes" to "Go to all notes" on the User Notes panel.
  • Added new animations when navigating between activities.

Fixed issues

In this release, we also updated the activity player, so that Buzz saves and/or submits assessments (depending on the settings) if the browser is closed while completing an assessment.

APIs

Updates in version 2019.05.22.3811.

  • Course Data: Added a new supported element, heroimage.
  • PutTeacherResponse and PutTeacherResponses: Fixed an issue where the same response submitted repeatedly would create new response versions.
  • On May 30, the GetUserGradebook2 API will begin to have an API Rate Limit enforced. The API Rate Limit will be 50 requests per 5 minutes. See GetUserGradebook2 documentation for more information.

What settings would cause as assessment to be saved and what settings would cause it to be submitted?

Hey Bruce, if the setting "Allow save and continue" is enabled, then the assessment will save when the browser is closed. If it is not enabled, it will submit the assessment.

That was my assumption, but I wanted to make sure.

Thanks Brad!

Hi, Brad.

I am not sure if others are having this problem, but the formatting of your release notes is not displaying properly in Outlook. Something must have changed recently and it may have been a Microsoft update, but I thought you should know.

Thanks,

Dennis

Mine is like that too. If I click this message:

then it reformats and looks normal.

Thank you both for letting us know. The images likely needed to be approved to display because they are being served from a different server than normal.

I am trying to capture all issues with emails in a single location. If you don't mind, please submit your feedback below.

Thank you,
Brad

Dennis, Bruce, and others that provided feedback regarding the email layout issues: THANK YOU!

I believe that I have fixed all of the issues that have been reported in Outlook. If you continue to experience new issues, please continue to report them!
