New Buzz UI

During the summer of 2017, we released a new Buzz UI, giving you the same features and functionality with a cleaner, simpler user experience!

The release notes in this section pertain only to those using the new Buzz UI.

New Buzz UI fixed issues

In this release, we:

  • Fixed an issue in exported scores where an excused activity would sometimes display a blank instead of X in a Multi-Outcome Score course.
  • Updated the button text to enroll in a course from "Continue" to "Verify code" to match instructions.
  • Fixed an issue where users in the Teacher app were incorrectly prompted to choose activities in a Choice Activity folder.
  • Fixed an issue where the Course links dropdown in the Activities tool would incorrectly show the course title.
  • Updated the Student > Grades screen to return students to the chosen Grading Period when they navigate away to Grade Details screen and then back.
  • Updated the Admin > People tool to return Admins to the previously selected position after navigating to another modal screen and then back.
  • Fixed an issue where in Multi-Outcome Scoring courses with more than four objectives would display an enlarged final objective field when using quick-edit grading.

APIs

  • GetEntityWork2 and GetUserActivityStream: Fixed a possible error when making the request with an XML response.
  • Gradebook: Fixed an issue where a letter grade could be attempted to be saved with more than 10 characters.
  • Item Data: A new attribute, template2, for defining a template resource that the learner should download and complete when submitting the assignment. Replaces the previous template.
