A round-up of all improvements and changes to the Buzz platform in versions v2.0.137 and 3.0.35, available on January 18, 2018.

Fixed issues

In this release, we:

  • Fixed an issue that would give admins without the right to delete courses an "Access denied" message when trying to edit a course from the Courses tool.
  • Fixed an issue where an exempted question could display as not exempted even though it is.
  • Updated the "Add selected to Clipboard" button in the Teacher app > Performance/Gradebook > Student screen > For Me tab to add the currently viewed student to the Clipboard when clicked; previously, it didn't.

New Buzz UI

During the summer of 2017, we released a new Buzz UI, giving you the same features and functionality with a cleaner, simpler user experience!

The release notes in this section pertain only to those using the new Buzz UI.

New Buzz UI updates

In this release, we updated the "Enter printed-assessment answers" screen to reflect the new Buzz UI.

New Buzz UI fixed issues

In this release, we:

  • Fixed an issue that would give admins without the right to delete courses an "Access denied" message when trying to edit a course from the Courses tool.
  • Fixed an issue where an exempted question could display as not exempted even though it is.
  • Updated the "Add selected to Clipboard" button in the Teacher app > Performance/Gradebook > Student screen > For Me tab to add the currently viewed student to the Clipboard when clicked; previously, it didn't.
  • Fixed an issue where duplicating a question while using Edit All in the Assessment Editor could duplicate the question ID.
  • Fixed alignment issues that were appearing when using the Edit Expression dialog.
  • [Mozilla Firefox] Fixed an issue that would cause Calendar to display issues on days where multiple activities are due.
  • Fixed an issue that would cause the navigation to display an error when navigating to the My Library screen for the first time.
  • Improved the error message for fill-in-the-blank width field in the Assessment Editor.
  • Fixed an issue in the course Editor where dragging and dropping would disable text selection in the application for the rest of the browser session.
  • Fixed an issue in the text editor where the new window option was incorrectly enabled when editing a link to a course folder.
  • Fixed an issue in a Final Grades tool did not display the currently selected grading period if the domain has enabled Grading Periods.
  • Fixed an issue where pasting an image may not save if the Save button is selected immediately after pasting the image.
  • Fixed an issue where pasting a Course Link would not save properly.
  • Fixed an issue that would cause the Multi-Objective Scoring Scores be delayed in displaying after changing the Grading Period.
  • Fixed an issue on the student grades page where the sort indicator was not being cleared when changing the grading period.
  • Fixed an issue with the student self-assessment dialog during an edit where the colors and labels where not dynamically changing.

  • NavigateItem: Fixed an issue where an item would not properly display to observers if the item was placed in a folder that had visibility set to teachers and observers.
  • Various security improvements.
