"Insert template" workflow restored for teachers
In the Grade editor, we have removed the toolbar button for inserting feedback templates that was added on 8/29 and returned the Insert template list to below the message editor where it was originally located.

We have restored this behavior to alleviate workload for users who use templates heavily while we continue working on a solution that best supports all of our users. If you signed up to participate in that process and are selected, we will reach out through the email you provided.
Changed default for teachers sending messages to multiple recipients
Beta feature: This release note impacts those using the Inbox, which is a beta feature and subject to change.
The Inbox appears only if it has been enabled in your domain.
In order to reduce the possibility of teachers accidentally sending group messages to students (unintentionally enabling them to interact with each other), we have changed the default and checkbox options for teachers when they create and send a new message with multiple recipients.
Before this update:
- The default was set to send as a group message (where recipient replies could be seen by all).
- Teachers were provided a checkbox option to Send as individual messages to each recipient.
- The checkbox option appeared below the To field.
After this update:
- The default is set to send an individual message to each recipient.
- Teachers are provided a checkbox option to Send as a group message (makes recipients and replies visible to everyone).
- The checkbox option appears above the Send button, so teachers can more easily review it and make a choice before sending.

Buzz fixes
In this release, we fixed an issue where clicking the Inbox toolbar button while in the Inbox > Sent folder could create an error where the screen became unresponsive.
