As previously announced, we are releasing enhancements to the Grade editor for teachers and the Grade details screen for students.
Teachers can send multiple messages to students from the Grade editor
With this release:
- Teachers will be able to send multiple feedback messages about an activity from the Grade editor.
- Feedback messages are not tied to submitting a score, so teachers can send messages at any time, before or after an activity is submitted or scored.
- Teachers will still have Feedback templates to help with scoring.
- Feedback messages will be more discoverable to students.
More discoverable feedback messages for students
When teachers send a feedback message, students will be notified in their Activity stream with a link that takes them to Grade details to read it while looking at the activity content.
Teacher messages will be prominently displayed in Grade details, so students can easily find them.
Buzz updates
In this release, we:
- Enhanced the Share SAML configuration with subdomains option introduced last week to automatically redirect a user to their own domain when logging into any domain with the same shared SAML configuration. This allows for a student to login from their district’s domain but, once logged in, be navigated their own school’s domain.

- Updated the To field in the Send mail dialog to include course title with the Students, Teachers and graders, and Students, teachers, and graders options when they’re used.

Dawn updates
In this release, we:
- Increased the max group size from 100 to 500.
- Enhanced our progress dialog to show greater detail when performing a bulk enrollment.
Dawn fixes
In this release, we also:
- Fixed an issue where invitation/calendar emails were not being sent for scheduled sessions.
- Fixed an issue where learners could not be deleted.
- Fixed an issue where emails with underscores were not being accepted.
- Fixed an issue with scheduling appointment emails not containing the correct start date and time.
