During the summer of 2017, we released a new Buzz UI, giving you the same features and functionality with a cleaner, simpler user experience!

Until all users have switched to the new UI, our Help Center articles will include information for both.

Click the header below that aligns with the Buzz UI version you are using (Old UI or New UI); if you don't know which version you are using, review the differences and/or contact your system admin or Agilix account manager.

Old UI

If enabled, Buzz allows you to specify courses from which content authors can copy activities as templates. They can then edit them for their own needs.

To do so:

  1. Open Settings from the Domain toolbar.
  2. Select the Course Options tab.
  3. Click Add in the Activity Templates section and provide:
    • The Order you want each added item to appear in.
    • The template Title.
    • The course you want authors to be able to copy templates from.
  4. Click the pencil (edit) icon to open the Editor for the indicated course.
  5. Save.

Once added to the domain, these templates appear under tabs along the top Add to window when adding an activity with the Editor.

Notes

On clicking Save, after adding a course for activity templates, the chosen course is set to Public so all course authors can access it. To reverse this:

  1. Open the Courses tool.
  2. Click Edit for the desired course.
  3. Uncheck the Public box.
  4. Save.
