Notes

In early June, 2016, Buzz released a new Gradebook feature called multi-outcome scoring. This tool allows teachers to align activities with multiple scoring objectives, track performance against each of those objectives, and generate grades that reflect that performance.

This feature is not live in all domains; if you're not sure whether it's live in yours, contact your teacher or system administrator.

Non-Multi-Outcome Scoring courses use a Grades table

Courses without Multi-Outcome Scoring use the Grades table:

Multi-Outcome Scoring courses use Dashboard and Grades screens

Multi-Outcome Scoring courses use Dashboard and Grades screens instead of the Grades table:

  1. Dashboard displays the student's overall score, course progress, and performance on objectives.
  2. Grades displays detailed information for each activity (performance on outcomes, status, submission date, and due date).

When you choose to display grade information from all courses in the domain, the Performance/Grades tool shows your performance on scoring objectives across all courses. Your teachers must be using domain-level scoring objectives to see these indicators; talk to your teacher if you're not seeing them and you think you should.
