Buzz Release Notes
A round-up of all improvements and changes to the Buzz platform in version v3.0.364 available on October 12, 2023.
Enhanced 1EdTech support
In this release, we:
- Enhanced the 1EdTech Common Cartridge (CC) importer to better support questions banks if they are flagged as a resource. Additionally, Buzz will now mark activities as only visible to the teacher if the package indicates that the role associated with the activity is only an educator.
- Enhanced our 1EdTech Learning Tools Interoperability (LTI) 1.3 integration to support receiving a score and a pending status. When Buzz receives a score and the pending status, it will continue to assign the score to the activity but will also place it in the teacher’s Needs grading queue.
Buzz fixes
In this release, we also:
- Fixed an issue where, when a teacher selected the folder’s Settings > Visibility and access > Hide from table of contents option, the activities in that folder could still be navigated to from Activities, using the Previous and Next activity buttons.
- Updated Multiple answer, inline questions to automatically adjust the size of the clickable answer box to accommodate long text answers.
- Fixed an issue in the Editor > Syllabus where using drag-and-drop to move items would sometimes cause the screen to jump rather than scroll smoothly.
- Fixed an issue where opening a grouping from the Manage groupings screen could be difficult with groupings with short names.
- Fixed an issue in rubrics where headers wouldn’t expand to fit multi-line titles.
- Fixed a style issue where Resource library icons could get clipped.
- Fixed a Dark color scheme issue when previewing activities.
- Fixed a Dark color scheme issue in the Editor > Weights screen where hover text for Multi-Outcome Scoring Objectives appeared as white text on a white background.
