Input Types are the kinds of fields that admins can use for gathering information from other users in Buzz. You set these up in various places in Domain Settings.
Depending on the nature of the information you want to gather, you can choose from a selection of the following Input Types:
- True/false (Boolean) provides content authors with a checkbox, so they can make basic "on/off" or "true/false" choices.
- Choice provides content authors with a predefined list of alphanumeric tag options in a dropdown. When selecting this type, click Add Choice to create dropdown options.
- Decimal number provides content authors with a range of numbers in a dropdown that can include decimals. Use the Min and Max fields to create the desired number range.
- Integer provides content authors with a range of numbers in a dropdown without decimals. Use the Min and Max fields to create the desired number range.
- Plain text allows content authors to enter terms and phrases that will be made searchable.
- Rich text provides content authors with a rich text editor that supports text styles and images. This content is not searchable.
